Deze weken zijn we bezig met snoeiwerkzaamheden in de Sittardse wijk Hoogveld. Een mooie afwisselende klus waarbij de nadruk ligt op begeleidingssnoei. Dat is het begeleiden van jeugdige laanbomen naar een volwassen eindbeeld. Bomen die dan voldoen aan de normen van de stedelijke omgeving. Denk dan bijvoorbeeld aan minimale doorrijhoogtes, vrije zichtlijnen, lantaarns die vrij zijn van begroeiing, etc.
Heel cool was dat we op enig moment een handje hulp kregen van Yvonne. Een vriendin die het wel leuk vond om een dagje met ons op pad te gaan. Met dus twee dames aan het werk braken we dus lekker met het sterotype beeld dat boomverzorging een mannenwereld is!
